How Funds Are Used At ThinkFirst

ThinkFirst relies on individual, corporate, and foundation gifts to carry out it's mission and expand injury prevention programs to more children and teens. Funds raised are used for many important purposes and projects. Recent funds requested and/or received will be used to:

• Distribute ThinkFirst curriculum and other educational materials to schools in low income areas around the country.
• Start new ThinkFirst Chapters around the country and internationally.
• Conduct a demonstration project to promote use of booster seats for children ages 4 to 8.
• Provide stipends to our Voices for Injury Prevention speakers that enable them to attend the Annual ThinkFirst Conference.
• Develop a new program called ThinkFirst for Youth that is aimed at junior high/middle school youth.
• Develop web-based interactive games to enhance ThinkFirst for Kids.
