2023 ThinkFirst Virtual Conference

Welcome to the 2023 ThinkFirst Conference on Injury Prevention

Don't just fly . . . SOAR!

Elevating your injury prevention programs

March 7-8, 2023

Don’t just fly . . . SOAR! Elevating your injury prevention programs, the annual conference of ThinkFirst National Injury Prevention Foundation is the premier injury prevention conference to learn about best practice opportunities, develop evidence-based injury prevention programs, and learn from professionals in the field to ELEVATE your injury prevention program to new heights.

Unintentional injuries continue to be the fifth leading cause of death overall, and the leading cause of death for those under 35 years of age. Community education is needed to reduce the number of deaths and injuries related to preventable causes. Unintentional injuries contribute to more years of potential life lost than any other cause of death in 2020; These include poisoning, motor vehicle crashes, suffocation, drowning, and falls. Community education on prevention continues to be needed in every community.

Objectives:

This activity will provide learners with new evidence-based strategies to implement in their community injury prevention programs based on the leading causes of unintentional injuries and deaths in the United States.
